Brief Definition of Music Theory

Course Overview

AP Music Theory is designed for students seeking music as a career and/or for those desiring a music supplement to their performance class.  Attention is placed on Western music indicative of the 18th century styles and practice.  Music from other cultures and time periods will be explored as well.

Coast Online - A great resource with information and trainers. It a great deal like musictheory.net, the user interface is a little more cumbersome but I believe it has more substance in its trainer section.

Teoria - A little more complex than the sites above but covers MANY topics in depth.
